Several activities and events are developed, organized and/or co-sponsored by the Career Services Department. These events provide feedback and expertise from employers in keeping program curricula current. These activities also provide an informal forum that maintains communication and an exchange of ideas of real world situations between industry professionals DeVry University staff, students and graduates.
Advisory Board - The purpose of Advisory Boards are to reinforce DeVry University's educational philosophy of an up-to-date curriculum that develops students to meet the evolving needs of employers in today's job market. Employers provide our academic Deans and Faculty with input on our curriculum.
Next Advisory Board meeting with be in September 2014.
Career Expos and Information Sessions - Employers are invited on campus to share their industry knowledge and expertise with the DeVry student body as well as to recruit students/graduates for positions within their companies.
Round Table - The purpose of Round Table open discussions is to educate our student body about current industry trends by bringing employers to the campus to provide information from the employer perspective.

Workshops - On site workshops helping students with resources for their career needs: mock interview, resume building, LinkedIn, job search strategies and so much more.
On Campus Recruitment - An opportunity for employers to do on campus interviews for any open positions their company has. Career Services will send employer resumes and pre-screen qualified candidates.
